In the late 80's, when i bought my first Bburago Ferrari as a kid, i was already into cars, and i remember when BMW released the 750 iL. It was so stunning that at that time i dreamed about having a scale model of that car. Although it's not exactly the same version, buying this BMW today is almost like fulfiling a child's dream. And Minichamps didn't disappoint as the model is lovely, with a very nice paint job, spot on exterior e very neat details. It's that model that will be cherised in a unique way.

I really wish they improved some things with these old releases before reissuing them. You're getting Norev quality for what... 3 times the price?
A believe in this case this is a very well done model, with great engine details, well above Norev, and it's still under U$ 200 dollars. Not a bargain, but not 3 times the price too.

I just meant it's done exactly as before and standards have moved on so it looks a bit ...old in places. Headlights look outdated, the chrome trim is painted on (I think) as opposed to being separate. And it retails for $180-200. Meanwhile I got the new LCD Century, a vastly more detailed model, for $180 shipped.
Today i don't think any manufacturer can touch LCD Models in terms of craftsmanship for the money. To me they offer almost BBR levels of refinement and details(and 360 access) for half the price. So yes, when you compare it with newcomers like LCD, ST Well and Kengfai, this 730i is a bit overpriced.
On the other hand, in person i was kind of impressed about the look of the model, the lines are very crisp and the paint jog is amazing. The silver painting on the trims that should be chrome don't bother me because they are very well done and have a very clear and bright finish, making a great contrast with the dark blue colour. If you want an E 32 7 Series you won't be disappointed.
