Hey guys

I ordered an older Minichamps Porsche this week and when it arrived i immediately notices something was off with the front Wheels

The wheel on the right side isn't centered and hits thé back wheelwell and on thé other side it hits the front. So i can't get the Wheels straightened out.

Ant way to fix this or should i just send it back

It's the top one in the picture

It's possible that the axle isn't straight.

Does the model have steerable wheels ? If it does, I don't think it can be fixed. If the car only rolls (no steering) you may be able to fix it. You will need to pop (un-screw) the bottom plate (where it has Minichamps 1/18 etc) of the car off though to have a better look. If you can't get access to the axle, you will have the remove the screws that are holding the interior in as well.

If you send it back for a replacement you may get another one with the same problem.

It does roll and steer Craig , but like i said its an old model , so its even not possible to get a replacement unfortunatly
i just hate it that almost every model i buy lately has flaws of this magnitude , i can work with a few inperfections in the paint , but offcenter wheels that rub against the wheel well , this is a serieus QC error.

i think i'm just gonna try and send it back ,i wouldn't mind it as much if it sits in the display cabinet but if i ever want to sell it on , that could be an issue for most

Maybe take the bottom off anyway, then you can see if it's anything obvious ?
