My most recent purchase a 1/18 minichamps porsche 917/10. Overall good quality. I got it for £40 off ebay which I do not think is too expensive.

Congratulations, Porscheuk -- that's a great price. most of these are in the $125 - 150 USD range.

I think Minichamps made a mistake when they flooded the market with these, making people think they were re-releasing the classic Minichamps 917/10s only to be disappointed that, though they're still diecast, they're sealed, unlike the original, full-featured versions.

I wonder if they're having the same problem with the sealed BMW 3.0/3.5 CSLs. Again, they look like the previously released models and are also in diecast but, despite all the livery choices, are sealed.
