Model Paint

863 Views 4 Replies 2 Participants Last post by  Ducati-900SS
Hi everyone,
I'm looking for some model paint from a retailer. I don't want the Testors stuff which is loaded with harsh chemicals. Is there anything sold anywhere that's non-toxic? I would just be using it for touch-up work, not painting whole models so it doesn't have to match perfectly or have a perfect shine to it.
Thanks,
MED

Try Tamiya's paints. They have a decent range of colors and clean up easily with water. That's what I use on the plastic kits I build.

I used Humbrol to touch up my DB5. Recently I bought some Revell for some touch up work but I havent used them yet. I would suggest the use of Humbrol.

Cheers!!!
Thanks. Where can I find/order these? I live in the USA.
Any hobby shop should have them. If you don't have a hobby shop in your area, try:

Tower Hobbies
or
Squadron Hobbies
or
Hobbytown USA

:cheers
