MR 458 Spyder

I recently got my hands on the 1/18 MR 458 Spyder in Rosso Corsa. Wasn't in my plans at all to add the MR as I was waiting for the HWE but a good deal came up for this and I decided to get it.

I particularly like the CF detail on this model.

And some shots with the HWE and BBR Italia.

Now that is a beautiful car ... and MR made it into another scaled down masterpiece ... can't wait to get my hands on their Aventador Jota version, if it is finished like this lady I'm a happy bunny

The front of the 458 spyder looks fantastic. The rear not so much..but defnitely can't wait to get my hands on the HWE.

Overall, I'm really happy with it. Just wish the brakes were a bit better. Lol.

Thanks! I would say that the chances of Hot Wheels releasing the 458 Spyder with sport seats is pretty high...I mean...why wouldn't they? More chance to milk the mould. Lol.

Great pictures Giamino

I don't care for the coupe 458, but this 458 Spyder looks really awesome, I love it. The engine cover, top, interior, and rear look so much better for some reason. Will definitely add the Elite, when it comes out.

Nice collection there. I havent pulled the trigger on the 458 as I still dont know if im the biggest fan of it, but MR would deffinetly be my choice it looks great.

Interested to see the BBR and HWE 458 Spyder as well. Both should be great model if their 458 Coupe is anything to go by.

I hope some manufacturer besides Hotwheels is going to make this with full openings. Maybe BBR will? (as they already will make an opening 458 italia)

If diecast, that's a definite no because of the license issue and also it doesn't look like BBR will go in the diecast direction anymore. As for the resin, well highly unlikely as well because I assume the 458 Italia is just a one time thing and with prices so high, it really wouldn't make much sense to produce the Spyder with opening...but then I could be totally wrong. Lol.

Considering that this comes with pre-installed CF, I'd go for this over the HWE version since the 4587 Spider doesn't have much of a detailed engine bay anyway (as compared to the 458). Very nice model, also liked the finish on your BBR 458
