My 1st mod - Painted the seats and door panel on my black Z06 to red. I think I used the wrong paint because it came out shiny. What paint should I use for seats/interior?

You want to use a semi-gloss paint. If you like the seats the color they are now, all is not lost. Go buy some Semi-gloss clear acrylic and paint them with a coat of that. . .

For a moment, I thought you customized it to look like a C5R.

The seats don't look bad at all, GM does offer a bright red leather interior like that, its called Torch Red.

If you decide to repaint the seats, would you consider painting the outside portion of the seats and leaving the red inserts. It would look like the Z06's Mod Red interior then.

Don't know of any place that sells seats. You may have to get them from a donor model. Tuner cars seem to have the best seats. I may have a few spares as I have stripped down a few tuners for the parts.

The mattel/Hot Wheels 550 Barchetta has similiar seats to what you have in your Z06 and should be easy enough to find (and it looks like in the one pic, your car is parked next to a 1/1 550 ? )
