Wow I would be afraid to even get a screwdriver close to that Bentley, you are a brave man! :giggle
LOL, far from that...
There were a few of the black hobby edition Brooklands with damaged interiors that miraculously escaped Minichamps's QC. I saw them on at least 2 websites. One of them offered me one for US$140 when I could have gotten a mint new one for US$160, the other one sold me one for $78 which I considered a deal.

In order for me to fix the damage, I have to open the car but the damn screws (4 that I found so far) are in the wheel wells, behind the wheels :(
I don't really want to break anything.

Anyone???

You may have to take at least the tires off the rear wheels to see the screws. I imagine they're under the wheel wells, but I don't know. I do know what damage you're referring to, but I was able to get some superglue on a toothpick and get it down in between the interior panel and glue the panel back on.

On my model, you can't even push the panel back in its place. It is also moved to the front about 2 mm, that is what is keeping the door from closing... So no, I am not as lucky as I initially thought to be able to glue the panel back. :smack

Ok, here are the pics of the damage to the inner panel - the worse in my opinion. The other bad part is that the center console came unglued and I can't remove it thru the door...
I did not take pics of the 4 little screws hidden in the wheel wells yet.
The panel misalignment viewed from above (note that the door can't close because the inner door panel hits the misaligned rear panel)

The other "good" side for reference (note the door sill also came unglued):

Well, after 3 months, I finally finished the Brooklands that I purchased damaged for $75. One Superglue tube later and here she is in all her majestic glory!
The broken parts were:
Shifter knob was broken, but included
Center console was loose (on the back seat) and impossible to put back to its position without opening the model up
Both door sills were loose (included)
Both rear interior cards were spaced apart and I had to detach them and re glue

All in all a tank of a model! Very well put together and thank Goodness that I broke nothing...
A few pics:

BTW, if anyone is taking apart one of these, feel free to ask me questions :cheers
