This is how i take my latest pics, with a tripod,background card and a low powered 20 watt Halogen lamp for some lighting.

The background reflective card i got from my local newsagent for around $3 a sheet. This was the chrome sheets, but they do have gold too..hmmm wonder what gold would look like :lol

I'm using the same setup and I place my card board paper anywhere the lighting is good. I haven't mastered using the Halogen lamp as of yet as it makes the pics to bright. :cheers

That paper makes a perfect picture, thanks for the idea :cheers

Great pic of your set-up D8. :cheers I actually just picked up some different backgrounds today. I got a bronze and reflective black background. I also got some mylar to diffuse my light so reduce "flare spots".
