Is the Bburago 1:18 Ferrari 250 GTO worth 10$? I'm thinking about buying it, will it shame my collection? How is the model? Is the white version rare?

What about the Bburago Ferrari 250 LM?

The Bburago 250 GTO is a pretty bare-bones model. I think it's worth $10, but don't expect alot of detail. The engine is very basic, the tires and wheels are the same size, front and back, and the knock-offs have the usual Bburago hole in the center. The headlights are not too good either. . .

Plus its a bit big for 1:18, maybe 1:17 although I have not measured it myself.
For $10 you should be ok.

That is what I was going to say. If I'm not mistaken it's a bit out of scale, towards the big size. If it was me, and the car is really in 1:18, I would snatch it for 10 bucks.

While I was taking pics today of my Bburago 250 GTO and the Guiloy GTO '64 together, they looked about the same size. . . I don't know whether they are true to scale or not. . .

I don't have the 250LM J-San, but you can expect it, quality and detail-wise to be comparable to the 250 GTO. It will have the same wheels and tires as the GTO, ect. . .

The 250 LM is noticably better and more detailed than the GTO but it should be since it's a newer model. But of course, it's still a Bburago so you can't expect much. But for $10 they're a good buy, if for no other reasons than in my opinion every sports car collection should have some classics like the GTO, and no one else ( except Guiloy ) makes the GTO at a price that is affordable for many of us.

At least the 250LM looks as if its on scale . A much nicer looking modelk in many ways
