That's a great photo background Al :nicejob and I like the idea of seasonal photos (winters can be for the ralley cars). One question though, what did you use to make the guardrail? :confused

I don't have any ralley cars, so I guess I'll have to improvise! :giggle

The guardrail is 3 pieces of balsa wood glued together. The back piece is a thin 1/2" wide, the top is a square and the lower is a smaller square. After it was glued, the sharp corners were sanded down to make them more rounded.

They were painted silver then sprayed a mist of flat black.

Thanks acisne, I would never have thought of that. The reason I ask is that a guardrail, though not very attractive, is realistic and makes a very believable "break" between the model and the background. :cheers

Thanks guys! A turkey? Hummm, good idea! I have one somewhere. It was part of the Ertl Outdoors series. I boxed it about four years ago when we moved and I have not seen it since :giggle . I also have a white tail deer.

The '32 is not the Lanes, but the HobbyEdition LE. The Lane is metallic red and has a full hood. The TTs are also different.
