·I don't post my new arrivals in this forum too often, but I decided to give it a whirl since I recieved some very nice "gap fillers" this week.
The Cadillac Sixteen makes the second one for me. The first one arrived damaged and the photo etched wording was rubbed off. I decided to give the gent a second chance and this time it arrived perfectly and was packed brilliantly.
A very nice model, with some pretty nice details. Fully carpeted and the engine is a thing of beauty.
The packaging on this one is different from the first one, as the first one had an outside box.
The others, Plymouth GTX and Pro Street Nova are typical Ertl models, nothing fancy about them, but the subject matter is first class. Both of these are newer models with the GTX being the "blown" version. I originally thought the hood looked butchered with the cutouts, but it seems to fit snugly around the two carbs sticking out.
I love the Maisto "Ulenhaut", another model done well by Maisto.
The MM ME-12 looks to be well done for a budget model.
The Suby had been eluding me for a long time. I gave the seller step by step instructions on how to package it so that it would arrive safely :giggle
And this is how I spent my diecast budget for January 2006 :lol
