[Road Runner 72]

Ok I did it, after some e-bay hunting, I scored my 1st Mclaren #59 Ueno Clinic, for the price of $44.90US plus shipping. It arrived as you see in pic safe & sound, all the way from Taiwan to Australia, it was well packed :happy .
I would love some info on it as I have just stepped into the Mclaren diecast world.

Congrats Mike! This was my first Mac too. I love this car. There are a few inaccuracies in this one. The worst is the absence of brake pads. The decals, especially the one on the head lamp tears off. Oh forget it! Enjoy the model. We can always bother abt the nittiegritties later. :cheers

You want to no about the model or the car? The 1:1 was piloted by Yannick Dalmas, J.J. Lehto and Masanori Sekia, winning the 24 Horas de Le Mans of 1995. The model (#39520) was realeased in 1997 by UT.

Very nice! I've been eyeing this one on eBay myself but just bought an F1 LM Roadcar from a DX member so will wait until that deal is complete. Of all the UT racing Macs the one you got is the one I want the most. The black makes it looks quite intimidating.

Jonhy well I did not know that as well, wonders why they updated it.

MB I found one as you can see :happy , thanks for letting me know in the other thread to get one, Im am glad I did.
Also will have to look for the photo of the finish of the race with the doors up bet it looks amazing.

Congrats on your new model . As you can see I like McLaren cars (my first one was the dark blue Gulf), and 3 are missing on that photo .
I don't have any problems with my models, but apparently some people have wheels trouble ....
