This is the mother of all Beetles, ya'll! I'm not one for rims with 50,000 spokes, but they work for this model. :eek:k It's models like this one that make you realize why AUTOart is the industry standard. :nicejob I definitely got my money's worth.

Man, do I love that big, honkin' wing. :yahoo

Very cool. I do love the RSi. I concur completely with you about the dislike for manya spoked wheels, but these particular ones look good on this particular car. Nice looking pics too!

May I ask where you bought yours from? I'm actually in the process of hunting for one myself.

If I bought an actual New Beetle, I would definitly buy the RSi body kit (4.5 grand) for it ASAP

Almost, 4X4 is for off-roading and not generally used all the time where as AWD can be used all the time. The drive chains are reworked in each case. Correct me if Im wrong, at least thats what I know.

BTW Awesome pictures there D!! I like the side shot, its a classic!

Im glad I got mine. There is so much art and style in the interior of this car it makes for a great combination between AUTOart and VW! :happy

P.S. I like the tires side walls, they look so crisp and detailed! :cheers

It's possible to make your own, to a degree. Just buy the New Beetle GLS (1.8L turbocharged 4 cylinder - 150hp), and "pimp" it out to look like the RSi.
This website sells RSi style body kits that will fit any normal New Beetle.
http://www.bildon.com/catalog/SubCat/body/NBC.cfm?Nav=3

Then just pick up some similarly styled 16-spoke rims, and now you have a RSi looking exterior :) Though it would be difficult to match the RSi's 225 hp V6 and AWD drive train, you could still beef up the already turbocharged 4 cylinder to perform almost as well. It wouldn't be genuine, but it would definitly still turn some heads :tease

A bit OT, there's a tuner in Vancouver that will convert your Beetle/Golf/Jetta w/ a 4-motion drivetrain, but it will cost you a whopping 5k+
