Anyone here make or even have a mini paint booth.

I'm going to be getting into the Tamiya Kits come next year some time and I am in the process of getting all my supplies together prior to doing so. I think I am going to need a paint booth for shooting spray.

I figured I would get it now that way I can start practicing now. :giggle

If anyone has made one, please chime in with your thoughts and or suggestions.

I see a few places online seel them, however, the construction seems simple with the exception of the blower fans.

Thanks

I have officially given up on building a paint booth.

Unless I build it in humongous fashion, it is a waste of time because I have no room to maneuver the model around while painting.

I have resorted to spray painting my models outside using a clothes hanger to hold it up so that I can just turn it as need be for painting.

Sounds like me Darrick. I use a paint can to rest the body on, after spraying the inside of the body and letting it dry for a couple days. Downside is I can't paint in the winter time. . . :ranting

I use a big carboard box that I cut open and taped. The downside is that the capret in the converted garage now has a gray/white/yellow haze to it due to not having a blower. I guess I need a bigger box.
