Porsche 2.7 RS made by Welly
Porsche RSR by Solido

Two iconic Porsches from the past. Funny I don't seem to be too big of a fan on the 2.7 RS which probably explains why I settled for the much cheaper Welly version back in the day instead of trying to pursue the Autoart version. But Welly did the job pretty well IMO and definitely was a step up from the UH model i had previously.

The Solido's RSR is another competent model considering the price. Love the aggressive look with wide body and thicker tyres although some commented they are bit too wide.

Always loved the 2.7 RS, but never ended up getting one. Welly seems to have done a nice job of it minus a little bit of crudeness around the turn light and interior. I feel given time they could have continued upping their game and become a variation of Sunstar Platinum.

I have de Welly and i like it so much, I think have a excellent value for money. The Solido RSR is also great.

Very useful comparative to see the differences between the RSR and the 2.7 RS.
Agreed Welly did well with most of their 1/18 Porsches. For me personally the Welly version is already a huge step up for me from the Joeuf version I had previously.

I think they did right with the introduction of GT Autos but only certain models were upgraded to that grade. I think I only ever bought one of the GT Autos which is the BMW 5 Series F10. A very nice effort similar to the dealer BMWs made by Paragon.

Nice photo comparison!
