Nice pics!! 959 is next on my list but I can't decide what color to get. The mineral blue certainly looks like a good choice :coolpics

Very cool shots boedan....as always! :coolpics This one is my favourite. How did you get that lighting effect? Did you use 1 or 2 lights? I love the way your front left wheel is lit up to reveal its contours.

Thanks for the compliments!
Only one light right above the model, just high enough to be out of the lens's view. The light wasn't directly over the center of the car, more to driver's side, hence the wheels/side of the car is somewhat light up and reflections off the white poster board took care of the front…

:nicejob :nicejob Very nice! What can I say but that it is a magnificent photo.

Great shots Boedan!!! :nicejob :nicejob :nicejob

The 959 is a sweet looking car. What do you think of the exterior and interior detail?
Bravo, boedan! The third shot is my favorite. I love the dithered look of the shadows! :cheers
That last shot is better than magazine quality!!! Wow! Great Job Boedan!

Congrats boedan430 :cheers

amazing model and great pic :cool
Great pics, boedan! I've never liked the look of the 959 (to me it looks like two cars stuck together - a 911 and the fenders, nose and tail of a much bigger car) but you've managed to make it look reallly good.
Wow, I didn't think they came out that good, but if you guys say so :happy

I'd say it's pretty much like the last UT models, maybe a little bit better.
The exterior- mesh (is that the word?) is used for all the vents and what not (expect for the one right above the rear wheels), paint is smooth and pretty rich, metallic flakes are perfect, lights are pretty good (except for the front turn signals, they have the subs-see photo), and the front and side windows have some gaps from certain angles (not too noticeable).
The interior- door leg hinges, interior is carpeted (much like UT's carpeting, not soft like AUTOart), seats are pretty plasticy looking; the interior quality pretty much is exactly like a late UT model - nothing too special, but a good effort.
awesome photos, great results Boedan :nicejob

A great colour blue to take photos of, it really jumps out in your photos.

Yes the shadow affect very nice, well done.

Wow boedan! Great shots. There used to be a website way back in the day where a guy took very artsy shots of his cars. I haven't visited in a few years, but back then they were the BEST by a long way. Now lots of people, like yourself, are taking really awesome pics. Great work!

I see someone is under the influence of fine diecast photos. :lol :lol Now it would be really funny if you had sold that very same car to Boedan. :giggle
