I got my 360 Stradale today :happy

As this model is typical Hot Wheels, you know what your getting beforehand, so one cannot complain too loud.

As its not a bad model compared to Hot Wheels's other 360 lineup. I must say I am more than disappointed in the fact that they used stickers for the stripes. From previous postings about this very same subject, I knew I was going to remove the stripes before hand. But after looking things over, here was no doubt about it. The stickers don't even form to the shape of the car :badidea

I don't understand Hot Wheels's reasoning behind this, they have a exclusive model that they can use to put a strangle hold on the market and they give us this :confused

As Hot Wheels seems to be able to get the jump on others by bringing us the latest models first ;ie C6, Stradale and the Enzo, thats not going to cut it for me anymore. As I have a deep Corvette collection, I have managed to stay away from their C6 as they dropped the ball on the non-removable targa top. I don't think I will have a problem with staying away from other items unless they start showing some interest in the models they offer us collectors.

Back to the Stradale, its not a bad model at all, but without the stripe its just another dang on 360 Modena Coupe. Hell, I've got six 360 Modena's already, what the hell do I need another one for. For the diehard Ferrari fanatic, I would reccomend it, but be forewarned about the stripes. I'm not exagerrating, their just that bad.

If Hot Wheels insisted on using stickers, they could have atleast considered stripes that conformed to the curves of the car.

As these are my thoughts, don't let me form anyones opinion, judge for yourself. :mine

I love the stripes on the real car so even if the tampos are bad I would be very reluctant to remove them even though the Stradale w/o the stripes looks just as nice. I gues Im just torn apart by the great looks of both. :cheers

Congrats on the new one! :cheers

I agree, removing the strpes defeats the purpose of havig a Stradale.

As I mentioned the stripes on this model are stickers and not tampos :badidea

Tampos would have been wonderful, but it wasn't meant to be. :badidea

I dont know what I was talking about. I was never properly educated on the subject of tampos :lol :eek:hmy
i HATE the stickers too!!!!! #!$)!*$!)$(^%!)*$)@$#~(#!)@~$(@~$_

someone should email Hot Wheels with a link to this topik...

:iagree That would be nice if they would listen and make a compromise :lol but thats a joke :lol

I picked up the CS Stradale everytime I go to the department store and each time I end up putting it back before checking out. If it doesn't bother me that I don't have one then I'm better off spending money on something else. :iagree with Darrick. Unless they improve the quality, which I doubt they will, I think that black Enzo will be my last Hot Wheels for a while. I'm just going to wait for Kyosho to pick up more sub-licenses.
I'll have to agree with you guys on this as well, I'm fed up with Hot Wheels all together.

I really wanted the Stradale, but I ordered a Maisto instead :cheers

Until they improve, :giggle, they will no longer get my money :ranting
if Kyosho does get more sub-licenses.... i'll be worse off then broke... i will be.... Super duper broke..... yikes!

On hindsight.... i guess though i HATE! the stickers !!! HATE! HATE! HATE! i still like the car.... esp. after dropping the front ride height.... i still enjoy lookin at it and making funny engine sounds.....

:iagree I couldn't make my self pick up the 360 Stradale at the store. . .

I did get the little Ferrari 166MM though. That one is not too bad :cheers
As long as the masses are ignorant about what a good diecast should be, they will continue buying all the crap that comes from Hot Wheels. So why should Hot Wheels care?

Is there no decals (water/dry transfer) one can get to replace the cheapie stripes?
