I got my 360 Stradale today :happy
As this model is typical Hot Wheels, you know what your getting beforehand, so one cannot complain too loud.
As its not a bad model compared to Hot Wheels's other 360 lineup. I must say I am more than disappointed in the fact that they used stickers for the stripes. From previous postings about this very same subject, I knew I was going to remove the stripes before hand. But after looking things over, here was no doubt about it. The stickers don't even form to the shape of the car :badidea
I don't understand Hot Wheels's reasoning behind this, they have a exclusive model that they can use to put a strangle hold on the market and they give us this :confused
As Hot Wheels seems to be able to get the jump on others by bringing us the latest models first ;ie C6, Stradale and the Enzo, thats not going to cut it for me anymore. As I have a deep Corvette collection, I have managed to stay away from their C6 as they dropped the ball on the non-removable targa top. I don't think I will have a problem with staying away from other items unless they start showing some interest in the models they offer us collectors.
Back to the Stradale, its not a bad model at all, but without the stripe its just another dang on 360 Modena Coupe. Hell, I've got six 360 Modena's already, what the hell do I need another one for. For the diehard Ferrari fanatic, I would reccomend it, but be forewarned about the stripes. I'm not exagerrating, their just that bad.
If Hot Wheels insisted on using stickers, they could have atleast considered stripes that conformed to the curves of the car.
As these are my thoughts, don't let me form anyones opinion, judge for yourself. :mine
