Saw this on another forum and thought it would work here. So you can post one picture a day and only one picture.

It can be of anything diecast related such as:
  • Your favourite diecast
  • A terrible diecast
  • A car
  • A bike
  • interior
  • exterior
  • your collection
etc, etc. Also try to add the make and model for people that are interested. I'll start off with my current favourite pairing the Exoto GT40 and AUTOart McLaren F1.

A quick phone shot of Craig Breedlove's Spirit of America land speed record car. If records were handed out for looks, this thing would hold all the records !

The famous Simple Green CART safety truck. In an unusual size for die cast, 1/32 (I've never gotten into slot cars).

Senna Lotus 99T, the active suspension car (note the pitot tubes on each side of the nose). When it worked, it was amazing. Senna won the Monaco and Detroit street races. Detroit was my first race in person, seeing Senna win in the wet is one my top racing memories. Nige actually lead most of the race in the Williams, but broke toward the end. Somewhere I have a picture of his car in a runoff area. We walked the track after the race, and were able to just walk up and look at the car. Could have hopped in (but I'm way too tall!). How times haver changed.

Bending the rules, but I thought some would be interested in the Mansell car. It was left in a runoff area, and as you can see, we could walk right up and check it out (no officials or security to be seen). Only took 2 photos, since this was in the film days.

Two Michael Turner prints, with the Carousel 1 AAR Eagle that won the 1967 F1 Spa GP (Dan famously went on to win LeMans that year), and the GMP McLaren M8B. On the Michigan International road course (run "backward" on the oval plus infield) the McLarens finished 1-2-3 driven by Bruce McLaren, Denny Hulme, and Dan Gurney. I really need to display the Michigan print with all 3 M4Bs.
Sorry for the lousy pic, it's an old one !

Ayrton Senna, 1988 McLaren MP4/4; Alain Prost, 1989 McLaren MP4/5. One of the greatest driver pairings in history, in a team and cars at their peak. Fantastic. The win record for the MP4/4 over one season has never been equaled or beaten.
