I didn't like the half-assed way I was going about the original painting, so I stripped the model down to completely bare metal. Previously, I scuff sanded and applied primer over the car. I removed everything, and sanded/filed out some surface imperfections and have wetsanded the final coat of primer. Next step is to start painting, which should be fun.
Then, while the paint is curing before polish time, the interior/engine/chassis will be completed, which isn't too far from done anyway. Since I don't have a version of the F355 in GTS form (only black and yellow :crying ), I've decided to go with red for the 348 GTS SS. For those that don't know what the SS stands for, stay tuned!
