Just started on my way to turning the Larkham V8 Supercar i got with some smoke damage, into an AU model Falcon XR8. SO far have stripped the model and have dry sanded and wet sanded it. Still have the doors/bonnet/front and rear bumpers to strip, but may use paint stripper on them cause there's some hard to get areas.

I was thinking today that i might make this a permanently closed door model cause one of the front doors is always too loose :\.

Today i went over to visit my Parents and took the model with me to use my brothers paint stripper! to get the job done faster!. An hour or two later and she was as bare as a babies bottom! :lol :giggle . Anyways next step will be to fill the holes on the model with filler then sand and primer with some etch primer. I was also wondering what this would look like completely polished up to a mirror finish with just clear over it :). Anywas here's todays pics! oh have semi put the car back together so yall can see what it looks like atm :).

Looks nice for now D8!!! :danbanna
But leave the door opening, and try to fix it! It'd be really pity if the doors wouldn't be openable! :scared
Thanks BVR, yeah ill see how things go.... but atm the doors hinge is up the creek without a paddle! :lol
