i am looking to get some putty. Can someone recommend me something good? I tried the Tamiya ones before. They are not bad, but the little green bottle seems too small compared to toothpaste size putty..

I like to use 2 part epoxy putty. I buy mine at NAPA. Depending on how much hardener you mix in, the thing is rock solid in 1 min or up to 1hour if there is little.
It sands great as well.
