I am trying to figure out how to make a resin mold, I want to make an air intake for the motor of a Mclaren F1 GTR. :? I got the car from a scratch & dent sale at Kevin's & it was missing the air intake, so now I'm trying to figure out how to make 1.
So if any1 has a clue on how to make a mold, can you share the info?
Thanks,
Johny

Johny...If you can't find the info your looking for, try E-mailing TJ at www.amhost.com/tj He makes custom parts in resin, maybe he can help you out.

I've made a few things out of resin. I've used www.alumilite.com products, which aren't that bad & pretty easy to use. The main problem with resin is getting the air bubbles out of the resin pieces once you pour the resin into the mold, one small air bubbble can ruin the whole piece.. http://community.webshots.com/album/50406581qfgNnr .
