I know that the standard UT 911 993 Turbo has no brake calipers, something that annoys me a little bit. However, I have seen pictures in a couple of sites where there are calipers in this very model. Was it a mod or what? :feedback :danbanna

The first few runs of the 993 Turbo were, in fact, made with no calipers. UT later decided to add Red brake calipers to the Turbos and black to the Carrera S. As far as I remember these were the only two trim levels to have added calipers in the UT Porsche lineup.

It's been added later on the production. Mostly seen in the black and silver version, rarely on the arena red. :WTF

This was the good thing about UT they improved their models. I have the fisrt BMW 3 series BTC (British touring car) and the first Escort WRC neither have opening bonnets and no engine which later ones did. The first BMW's only had one piece of cast plastic for the headlights, which was later replaced by a more authentic looking unit, and the same for brake calipers.
