I have been bitten by the F1 bug, but I am wondering why most of the ones on Ebay are located in Asia, South America (mainly Brazil) and a few in Europe? There are some but not many located in the US or Canada and shipping is a bit on the high side. Was this intentional on UTs part? All of the other UT's are easily found in N. America (for a price).

I think Jeff grabbed all of the ones that were left in the mainland :giggle

That haul was so awesome I still look at the pics to this day.

My condolences to you Al for having been stricken by the F1 GTR virus. The only known cure is to "injest" some of them into your diecast collection. Just watch out for two known problem with those cars though:

(1) melting paint on wheels
(2) cracked/damaged decals

Aside from that, here's a small batch of some fine F1 GTRs:

The "Yelow Corn" car is in 1:43 by Minichamps in case you want to get corrupted in that scale also. :giggle

I got quite a few of my McLaren F1's from Brazil, (i'm in the UK, by the way); the 2 sellers i used, and would have no problem recommending, were Guaxi18 and Hobbyroger.

Guaxi18 just edges it , as he speaks fantastic english, and is a great communicator as far as replying to e-mails.

There's some dodgy ones out there as well; check out some of their feedback ratings...

Get yerself a bargain!

Here's pics of some of mine (well, I guess, eventually, the pics will be of all of mine).

Short Tails (including both 1995 and 1996 versions of the Gulf #24, Harrods #51, and Ueno Clinic #59):

Long Tails (including two #39's-one with the incorrect roof decal, and one with the correct roof decal):

Sorry about the picture quality, I'm a collector, not a photographer.

I also collect racing memorabilia, here are some Gulf McLaren decals I have picked up over the years:

These are reverse-mounted, so the picture is a little light:

Here is a close-up of the decal in front of my pic of the Gulf Longtails:
