I'm thinking of buying a few semi (transporter) blanks or even something close to the same color and then customizing them into Superbike transporters.

Basically turn this:

Or this:

Into this:

Since the Yamaha one exists, I'll probably just buy it outright, but the others I'll need to add logos and such.

What would be the best way to go about doing this? I was thinking of finding the logos on the internet, shrinking them down to size, and then printing them on decal/sticker paper?

Is there a better way to do this? I've never tried anything like this so I don't know anything about it.

Thanks for any suggestions!

I'm doing the same thing right now, playing around with a couple of different things. Basic decals and patterns I have down, but shrinking logos/etc has proven to be a little more difficult to get full clarity. I keep playing a little bit every day, so I'll let you know if I discover some kind of secret.

I've definitely bought a few duplicate models lately strictly to add some decals to them.

I too have toyed with this idea. :giggle

I think I am going to prolly do it with the NASCAR Transporters as the sticekers are easily removable. Not to mention they are on clearnace right now, so I can buy a ton of them :happy

I am planning on getting the stickers from the local dealership.

Damn!! Why didn't I think of that?

Great idea!!!

If I find the right colors I won't even have to paint the rig, just the trailer.

You shouldn't have to paint the trailer either as the murals on the trailers are one big sticker. Just remove it and apply yuor own decal :cheers
