After having more space for Ferraris now, I remembered a cardboard stored for years in the cellar of my parents. :giggle

Amazing, what I rediscoverd there last weekend!

• F40, yellow (bburago)
• Mythos, red (Revell)
• 250 LM, red (bburago)
• 246GT Dino, yellow (Anson)
• 365 GTB/4 Daytona, red (TechnoGiodi)
• 365 GTB/4 Spider, black (Solido)

F40 and Mythos are in quite good conditions, the others have to be restored with a bit more time and effort. I'll do step by step.

Starting this week with the

MYTHOS (Revell)

what was done:

• body polished
• frontscreen decolored (I've tinted it smokegrey once)
• headlight glasses polished with Displex (they were yellowed)
• interior cleaned and carpeted
• engine colored

Just have to add some new 4-point-belts and it's ready for the cabinet.

The next one:

250 LeMans [bburago]

• Body polished
• took off the chromed reflectors in the headlamps
• acrylic cover for the fogs
• handmade stainless steel spoke wheels
• new mesh for the air outlets in the engine hood
• interior colored like archtype

I was asked for a group shot of all my Wiesmanns so I packed them all in their boxes and went out today for a photo shooting.

And where could be a better location than at Wiesmann manufactory?

First I placed all lizards on a warm "stone" in the sun... :giggle

A couple walking by was very interested and we talked a while, then they took a shot of me and my "babies":
(Sorry guys, there weren't any grid girls so you have to be satisfied with my mug :giggle )

Then we went to the "stage stairs":

...and after that each one on its own podium:

(look what was sneaking around the corner in background! :eek:mg )

You only count 10 here? Right, there weren't more podiums :giggle so I left the one stock version (carbon black roadster) boxed.
Unfortunately there was no salutatory 1/1 parking outside today. :mob

At last all posed in front of the showroom again:

Well, when number 12 is comming soon, I won't take out all of them again... :lol
To pack and unpack them several times left some marks, hope I can fix them easily.

Now "no. 12" got its treatment for "cabinet green card" :giggle

The shape and details are already good for this scale but as I want to add a mini adequate to each 1/18 I had to repaint it and of course there's room for further improvement.
Once I customized scale 87 so why not to go for the same in "HotWheels-size"? :goodidea:

I started with pearl white as this is one of my favorites and - guess what - it turned out well! :zoom

Also the interior had to blend in with the larger archetype.
On the next one I'll try to paint it more accurate. Had a busy day today so I'm too tired... :dizzy

Of course it will get proper plates as well, more babies comming soon... :happy

The gecko breeding goes on, two new-born babies today! :happy

May I introduce: Red Rocket jr. and Mango-Brushed jr. :cheers

All like daddy... :exactly:

...and together with the proud parents:

Next one expecting offspring is the GT Roadster. :giggle
