Today I received this brand new dealer edition, made by Minichamps:

Audi RS6 (C7) Avant - Misano Red

Hardly unpacked I picked up a screwdriver to open it for some modifications:

• detailed painting of headlamps
• black seam around headlamp glass
• taillights partly blacked, partly highlighted, glass tinted in darker red
• wheel setting slightly lowered and widened
• wheel nuts painted dark grey
• brake discs painted gun metal (ceramic brakes)
• interior and trunk carpeted black

Subtle, but I like it. Any other changes down the road?

I don't like PMA, but I really like the model. I love what you did to the stance, definitely made quite a bit of difference.

Nice improvements, they look spot on

Wow I didn't knew minichamps make this one. I can't find one on eBay;$
Try eBay, they're very new out so only a few sellers have them right now.

Looks great, and just goes to show how much better of a model Minichamps could have made it with a bit of extra effort! Well done! The black and silver wheels from the Daytona grey version would look great on this, so if you go to purchase another one to make an allroad, consider the swap :)

However, the ceramic brakes on the front never had the wave rotor design... I'm pretty sure this was only a weight saving measure on the standard brakes (as with other recent RS models).

Hey Rainer! I just realised that you posted this one here too!
Your mods look factory fresh..I really like the tail lamps a lot!!
The improvements you made are spot on
...and again, if PMA would've done a bit more, this car could've been one of their best recent releases!
