Guys,

We've just uncovered a user from Singapore who is using at least 3 accounts to PM members about high-priced models he has for sale at very competitive prices. All those accounts and his IP are now banned but there can't be too many reminders to do some due diligence and only deal with trusted, established DXers when using our classifieds.

Edit: I should clarify that we assume he's PMing members about models for sale. That's been the theme of his posts. At worst he's a sly shyter and at best he's working hard to break our simple rules here.

A sly shyter, don't think I ever met one of those. Thanks to the MODs, I certainly don't mind throwing the site a few bucks considering how hard you guys you work to protect the site's integrity.

A perfect example of why we have our "no classifieds until you're an established member" rule. This guy managed to temporarily get around them and we were able to bring out the ban hammer. Imagine if we had no guidelines in place - we'd be flooded with stuff like this and since they weren't breaking any rules we'd be powerless to stop them.
