Yes, the paint is from BMW Motorcycles but I guess that colour from S1000RR is another one. Looks more goldish-yellow to me.
I saw it first on R1150R: http://www.bmbikes.c...Citrus high.JPG
Great work as usual! Your work is very inspiring!
How do you paint GT Spirit/OttO products with the roundels and other decals? Do you remove and reinstall the existing ones, or apply new ones?
I always apply new ones. Luckily all OttOs come with spare decals, a nice service.
I don't get why GTS does not follow suit but since I don't repaint each OttO I usually have enough spares.
Thanks David!
Back from the Toy Fair I can tell you there's no M2 coming in near future.
BMW didn't place an order yet.
Paragon is interesting in making it but has no license/datas.
GT Spirit won't make any new BMW currently in face of changed license policy by BMW merchandising!
All makers told me about trouble with their behaviour.
Why are BMW being so idiotic lately? The M2 in 1:18 would fly of the shelves everyone who likes bimmers will want one for sure. It's also strange how paragon have been making the current range of BMWs, yet Norev made the new X6M and GT spirit made the F80 M3.
That is bad news sbout GT spirit though, it makes no sense at all they have made better BMW models than paragon, but they aren't getting the licensing to make anymore that is just baffling.
It's not about GTS is not getting the license but if they are willing to pay for it!
The whole BMW merchandising was outsourced to a company called GLT a while ago and those changed their policy last year, calling insane fees.
