It looks at least Maisto Quality, so the Black one will find a place in my collection, but

THE GRILL!!!!
where is it..... if youve seen this car up close, its like a tight chrome chain-link , but just a flat black void! ..... I'm dissapointed

Thanks for the pics :cheers :cheers :cheers

I'm really PO, Ricko could have made this car so much better! :ranting

The rear lights are wrong, there are no lights in the center by the rear license plate, and wheels are too small and are not far enough out :ranting

Atleast the ESV looks almost right :confused

Thanks again for the pics :cheers

It's not that bad realy. The grill has some textures that "imitates" the
"chrome chain-link " Though it doesn't look all that good. But overall, The model is great. Definately go for the black one. The paint on this silver one isn't all the good either and the slight panel gaps at the doors as well.

Exterior is Maisto-like quality but interior is near AUTOart level somewhat.

The wheels are actually the right size. They aren't small at all. For some reason, pics make it looks smaller :confused

Anyways, the rear wheel is far out enought while the front wheels are a bit too sinked in.

Do you think it's worth the $40? :cheers
I got it for a little under $40, more like $35 or a tad more :lol

anyways, i think its worth it because of what it is. its the only 1:18 CTS there is and so i think its worth the money. AutoArts are double the price, so i am expecting 1/2 the quality/detail from AUTOart with Ricko.. so .. no real regret at all. You pay more, you get more, you pay less, you get less.

if you are considering it, i recommend you get a black one instead. The silver paint wasn't done all that good. :WTF

Looks prety good. :cheers
It would be an awesome $20-$25 model but I am not so sure of the $40 price tag :confused
Nice picks :nicejob
It looks good with my other luxury sedans so i'm satisfied of my purchase. The base looks decently nice though. I just had to remove the middle base (yes, there are TWO bases) and just place the model directly on the main base. Looks pretty good in my opinion. :cheers

BTW, i saw AAs selling in Toronto (just came back Thursday) for $99 at most stores there and a few stores were selling it for $85. Doesn't sound too good of a deal though. the 1:12 lambo was just awesome (besides the $560 price tag ) after seeing it in person. Detail is perfect!........ sorry for changing subjects.. got carried away. :scared

Thanks for sharing the pics with us.

It may be the angle of the of the pics, but the front bumper looks really large, but I like it :cheers

What is the Ricko models retail range, I'm not at all familiar with their line up of models.

A few things I notice that are wrong:

-the stance is too low, in front especially
-the grille is horrendous
-the distance between the front wheel and the front door is too large - that's why the mold appears to be wrong.

Otherwise, the interior looks very good, engine detail is decent, and the price seems alright. Still, this seems sub-Maisto quality for me, overall, because of the detail and mold inconsistencies.

Thanks for the pics, cdx...I think I'll get the black one but it's nowhere near the top of my wishlist.

nice car you got. But, isnt the rims are too shiny? that makes the car like a cheap toys
Yes, you're right, i did notice that the wheels are a bit too "chromy" and not much details there either.

-the grille is horrendous

The rear seems "ok" but like you said, the front sits a bit too low.
The grill is disappointing but i don't look at the car by its front :wink
Not sure if the distance of the wheel to front door is too large. Didn't really notice anything wrong...

Exterior-wise, its not a "great" model, interior-wise, its a great model, so all together its a "good" model. I noticed that MTR sells for $37.50 and plus shipping, it'll be over $40.... so no doubt, its not the best money can buy.

The Caddy is probably a good addition to a luxury car collection, but God, that Caddy emblem on the front grille is big and plastic looking! However, I think if you black-wash it, it might do the trick and tone the cheap chrome look down.

Overall, not bad for those of us who can only afford our luxury cars in little.

:nicejob Thanks for the pics. Anybody got a black one they can post?

(Looks good next to my 5, 7, and VW.)

Probably need to do some modifications to the car sooner or later. First is to find some way to fix the grill area, then to lift the front a bit higher then work on the back..........

I think i'll try the black washing first :cheers
