The last add on my collection is this piece of art, the reedition of 300 SLR by CMC.

This car doesn't need presentation, it's fantastic. I can't compare with the first edition but, fortunately, my model hasn't defects.

Pity that CMC didn't improve anything compare to the old version, on the contrary, the three star emblem from the back looks worse. But still a gorgeous piece of diecast, and I'm happy for you that it has no flaws!

At the risk of being burned at the stake, shouldn't the grill with the star be a little bit sunken into the radiator opening?
The support bar is too straight in that opening compared to the real thing.

That's too much to criticize. No model is a 100% correct replica. But because it is a reissue, CMC had to improve some aspects, such as the headlight cavities, a very important detail from my point of view. They had to have a dark gray tint, like the real car. But CMC models are so special, that collectors are willing to overlook some aspects. I include myself here

It's true that CMC didn't improve the model but, for old people that we wanted the model, and I don't want to pay the ridiculous price in some auction platforms, it's a good new. I wish that CMC release the 250 GTO also.
