Hi, can someone explain or show me links to how make a 3D font in photoshop like in some of the member banners i saw, and how to make font with shade
And also i would like to make B&W pictures, how do i change the pictures in Photoshop to make them B&W

Not sure if this is what you want, but if you go into layer style and use bevel and emboss it will make the letters "pop up", while drop shadow and inner shadow adds shadows. To make a color picture b&w, go into image adjustments and use desaturate. Hope that's what you were looking for.

To get black and white, you can also go into 'Image -> Mode -> Grayscale".

Make a layer with your watermark on it (any image you like, name, date, web address etc) and reduce the opacity to something like 25%. Then it will just appear as a faint ghosted image on top of your picture.
