I went to my local diecast shop today, and was pretty surprised to see a Hot Wheels enzo clad with all the decals that was on the launch car MS drove.
I've never seen it before...is it a limited edt?
But it costs around 90 USD, and I'll never pay that much for a Hot Wheels.
In other news, seems that the shop is yet to receive their shipment of AUTOart 350Z S-tune yet... :ranting
oh well...

Speaking abt hot wheels, the mattel importer here in India had hiked up the price of the Enzo to abt $ 105. Refusal by hobby shop owners to stock them made them bring it down to 62$. Now should i pay 62$ for a car which has stickers for vents. There are absolutely no models for ferraris here. If you need one, you got to ask someone coming from abroad or choose to pay with an arm , leg and a kidney. I hate mattel for what they have done to the hobby. Will never buy a hotwheels for whatever it is worth.

DX,
That was in US dollars. 1 us$ = 48 Indian rupees approx. Even if you count shipping and customs, it shudnt come to more than 30$. Autoarts retail for abt 60 to 72$ for the premium versions. Maistos go for 25 to 33$ in hobby shops. The only online store stocking diecast has stopped doing so. Can you imagine i got my no. 59 mclaren for 40$ including shipping! Those were some good days.

Holy crap! My local hobby shop is asking $49CDN = $35US for the Enzo and I thought they were out of their minds. :scared

They also had that little Sunstar 356 Porsche (red) for $42CDN = $30US. I was tempted but upon closer inspection....I'll wait.
