my 1/18 Maisto Jag XJ220 is the version that didn't come with seatbelts but has a slot on each side on the wall behind the seats and on the floor, there is also 2 slots on the upper part of each seat, i've been thinking of making my own seatbelts and making use of the slots, a few suggestions given to me is to cut a cable tie to size then file it to roughen it up or sand some silk/satin strips.

I know some of you have done seatbelts and do u think I should use one of the above methods or If ugot ur own , feel free 2 post

Hey RW I was thinking about this last night and thought you might be able to use some rubber.

You would have to shave it down to the right thickness but that would work too

Check out what LUW did here.
not a bad idea,
some other materials that can be used are ribbon, silk/satin sanded to get seatbelt texture or herring bone binding which already has the texture of a seatbelt.
