Shooting diecast photos with Canon Rebel D-SLR

Hey guys - I'm closing in on a D-SLR and looking at a 300mm zoom lens too.

The question is whether you take your diecast photos with the stock 18-55mm lens that came with your camera?

:happy :happy That's good to hear. The cropping method sounds great. Have you ever tried manual focus on your camera for photographing your diecasts?

And do you have different techniques for shooting 1:43 vs. 1:18?

(sorry, I'm just a bunch of questions today :giggle )
