I have the Group 5 Lancia, Bertone Carabo Concept, Maserati Grandturismo Spyder and Bertone Zero Concept and am pleased with each. Mind you mine were all purchased from retailers - the Maserati and Lancia at a generous discount. I am happy with the concept cars especially but would never pre-order given their track record of disapointment. Thankfully all the Top Marques models have been good, though truth be told are rather expensive

Just stay away from their webstore...
PREORDERED Alfa Romeo Carabo and Lamborghini 350GT in 21st of December 2019 and still no models even if they are marked as sold-out now.
Last contact was February 2021, saying that they closed one of their factories in China cause of COVID but they would send the models in summer (I think 2021).
They have nice and interesting ones but I think they are getting close to the old good EXOTO customer service.
In other words, they are big scammers.

I also have a group 5 Lancia, bought with significant discount, and I am happy with the paint and that all of the parts were in place.
The roof line is a little too low for my eyes, unlike the Spark which looks a bit too narrow.
These are of course details that collectors like me would probably notice...... :>)

I'm not sure I've ever taken my Group 5 Lancia out of its box, beyond making sure it was OK when it arrived.

I was pretty happy with it, thinking it was on a par with Sparks, but like others, got it at a discount.

I only have their Alfa Romeo SZ in black. A model I have wanted in 1/18 for many years (Red would be fine, but Black was Zagato's own car) I got it from a reseller when it came out, so I would have gone back to them if it had QC problems.

I’m in the same boat, I wasn’t patient and against advice otherwise, i pre ordered a bunch of Lotus F1s (GP Replicas). I’m starting to see them pop up on eBay, although delivery dates are still a bit out. I got no reply from multiple emails to their CS and contact us through their site.

I found an email for the company director and actually got a quick response saying they’re not out yet but will be on their way (and he replied to a follow up email a month or so later too). So I’m still hoping Ill see them but Im not holding my breath.

My experience with this company is that i ordered a supercar from their official page 3 months ago. The Apollo Arrow in blue. TopMarques mentioned that the model is available in their asian warehouse and will take about 2 months to arrive! Untill today they never answer in my mails and model has never arrived...:cautious::mad:

I've not had any dealings with Topmarques directly but I do have a model of their Toyota Supra JGTC in matte black. Its a nicely detailed model and looks accurate but it does feel like it lacks quality.
Overall I'm happy with it but I think a bit more quality with their materials would probably help.

I am another in the same position as most above, pre-ordered both the Morgan and Noble years ago with no reply to any emails I sent. Surely there should be better protection from credit card company's regarding paid for pre orders? I would have thought it a regular occurrence that pre orders of any type of product might not have a release date set in stone so it would be very likely that a right to claim would expire.

New to the forum, joined after reading this thread. I placed an order with Top Marques on July 16, 2020 for a Toyota Supra "KING ERM" 1:18 in red. I have tried contacting them every week for months and haven't heard any responses since July of 2021.

Last email I got from them, July 1, 2021:

Dear Sir,
We are really so sorry about the delay with your order. We are still facing consequences caused by virus all production has been postponed and one of our factories has been completely closed.

I have checked and the model TOP86A is still in reproduction. Im waiting for updated schedule but the model should be shipped after summer from Asia.
I sincerely apologise for this situation but we are trying to do the best

Thank you your patience and favor!
We are now in February 2022 and I have not received the model, nor have I heard any updates.

I have asked several times for someone to please respond and have not received anything back. I hope to hear people start receiving their models, I can't believe it's almost been 2 years.

Sounds just like the one and only reply I got, which was mid-May from ECD B.V. (Top Marques themselves never replied, neither to my subsequent update requests, nor to my cancellation form). Wish this thread existed before I placed an order with them in October 2020. Now I'm out nearly $300 and the time limit with my bank for when a claim can be processed is a laughable 60 days from posting. Shoulda paid with AMEX. Somehow, two of the 3 models I pre-ordered are magically available, but only through Five Diecast. This is a retailer I'm not familiar with, so they might also be full of crap, but the idea that any retailer got stock before the collectors did is a travesty.

TL;DR: AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Top Marques is a fraud. I'm baffled at how a company can operate like this with offices in Europe and not be in hot water after all this time.

ETA: Long wait times are understandable with the pandemic upending everyone's supply chain - I once pre-ordered a model from BBR in May of 2019, and didn't actually receive notice of availability until July 2021.

The difference between BBR and Top Marques is that I had to contact BBR only once between those dates, at which point I got a crystal-clear reply within 24 hours, giving me 100% confidence that I'd eventually get my order - and after I did, I placed another without hesitation, and am equally sure the day will come when I'll be able to claim it. It also helps that the pre-order fee was never the full price of the items, but only €27.

Top Marques clearly doesn't place the same value in customer support, and notably wants all the money upfront with only a nominal discount, so I don't trust that their models will ever end up on my shelf, nor that the funds will return to my wallet.

Update: Just checked eBay and looks like several sellers around the world (all of which apparently retailers) have the same 2 models I saw on Five Diecast's website, which tells me they've been produced and released "into the wild." Obviously won't buy them, not just because I refuse to double-pay, but at this stage dealing with the company has left a bad taste and I no longer care if they're even good models. If by some miracle I ever get them, they're going straight on eBay.

As I mentioned above I’m in the same boat as you. I’ve been seeing some pop up on eBay with FiveDiecast having the most but the last I looked the shipping date from them is consistently 2-3 weeks out which is telling me, they too are told they’re on their way but haven’t got them yet.

I’ve ordered at least 4-5 models from fivediecast with no issues whatsoever and they always seem to sell at msrp, which I respect.

The only thing giving me hope is I just got the Andretti Lotus 77 from Tecnomodel which I ordered the same night as the GPReplicas and theres no sign yet of the other Tecnomodel I ordered that night too - although the Tecnomodels were ordered though Replicarz and only billed when shipped. Fingers crossed that the GP Replicas are the same and slowly coming too. I did see one of the GP Replica Lotus on a FB group that someone had received in Europe from a secondary seller, it looked good but I’m not sure which driver it was (as I know some of the other driver Tecnomodel 77s have been available for a bit) so hopefully it’s just the ones I ordered and they’re on a real slow boat from China......
