HI all. Been very busy over xmas, but i did manage to get some work done on the trailers I am building for Diecastx and IBJ40. The weather here in summer is normally hot and dry. However we have only had about 3 or 4 hot and dry days all summer! I jud you not! So painting has been hard to do. I have managed to paint the main parts of the trailers and have started assembing Diecastx's trailer. IBJ40's trailer is slightly different and more difficult to do, so I am working on DX's trailer to iron out any issues. I did have an issue with the paint on one side of the trailer and I ended up having to build and paint a new side for the trailer. :nutkick Luckily I had a spare side already to go. I'm not too happy with the paint to be honest, but it does look good from a distance (about 200 feet :wink). I think I'll go back to Tamyia model paints and try not to do a white one again! From now on you can have a trailer in any colour you like as long as its BLACK :wink

Anyway, I have assesmbled the sides and front and the side and roof supports. The blue material is going to be the roof (which is see through, it has a plastic cover to keep it clean). The roof will slide in and out so that you can remove the roof to get into the interior.

Hi Jim. I was going to post a pic of your one (its still in pieces) but it wouldn't let me! Said I was over the global limit for attachments. I hope to start assembling your trailer soon.

besides, it seem the smaller tools get (I have seen "modelling lathes and drill presses), the more expensive they get!

I was going to but ran out of time. I did check that a Bburago Dodge Viper RT/10 fits nicely between the wheel wells. I use this model as it is about as wide as most models get. Is there any particular model that you want me to see if it fits? I'll try to get you some picts tonight.

Here you go. It will fit a Dodge Viper between the wheel wells (it's a wide car) and even a Dodge Ram truck (though you will have to watch the wing mirrors when you back it into the trailer!) :giggle
