My name is Joe, and I am new to collecting. I collect mostly exotic 118 scale cars, can you guys help me out? :giggle

This place has changed quite a bit since i last visited. Looks like the members that make up this place have to, or at least it is more diverse now. I still found a few names that ring a bell in the top ten posters-i thought i would have been out of hte top 50 by now though :happy I still talk to a few people that are no longer members here but I have not kept track of anyone else here or over at scale18. Congrats on the new look and sucess, i am still looking for the new buttons and trying to find my way around. i just wanted to stop in and say hi like i said i would. i still have half of my site completed but lost interest in making it when i lost interest in collecting. I am about to finally buy my domain, so I will throw it in there as a reference for exotic collectors. All i can say now about this place now is
:phaty

notice-to the people that do not know me i am a mclaren nut as the name implies. i collected only exotics and %99 in 1:18 scale. If you see some really really old posts with all blue text, that was me. Ahhhh......the good ole days :danbanna . did johny ever get his pc fixed and return to the forums?

Johny seems to have dropped out of sight.

Tons of new cars being released that I am sure you would like.

school...............................um........................yeah its killing me :tempted
i have until june or july until im out. i am trying to line up everything to get a job straight out of school, so the heat is on me. I really cannot wait until I have a "real" job. I still work full time as well as going to school full time, and I am still playing paintball on the weekends to unwind, other than that nothing is new. I actually save more money playing paintball than visiting this place :nutkick . But I have been doing well, as I hope everyone here is as well. I see you guys let X run off with the postwhore title, I bet I can catch up to him though :eek:hmy . Come on now Max, list the cars. I have too much money to keep in my pocket-I need to be tempted. I will stay in touch as always, talk to you guys tonight-or in an hour-depends on how busy school is tonight. I still have not bought a digi cam yet, even though I have had the money too for months now. I guess staying busy makes me forget about money :confused Well, talk to you guys soon.

Also, what is the difference between fast reply and a regular reply?

Hi Joe! Tom here. Good to hear from you and glad to hear that you're ok. I'm still hanging around. This place has changed a lot in appearance but the spirit of friendship which holds this place together still the same since day 1.

If you're looking to unload some of that cash, buddy you've come to the right place. Just hop on over to Photo of the day or member's collection and hold on tight to that wallet. :giggle You'll be hooked again in no time.

Johny Lemans never come back on-line. I hope you drop by more often.

tom, didnt you get enough of my money? :ranting by the way, do you have anyhting else to sell me? :tongue
i am trying to catch up but i am afraid i cannot. i need about 6 more hours i a day....maybe I could get some sleep then.

I will try to take some pics of my cars right now, you guys would kill me. they are in boxes in different rooms, laying out on beds, on counters, in counters, and on shelves. I ran outta space long ago and recently had a storm come through so I packed up some. My Mclarens have not seen daylight since the hurricane. Actually, I have been living with my parents for a little over a week because of a freak storm that blew through last sunday. The wind picked up and pushed a huge pine tree through my back bedroom, so I had to move out so they could do repairs. I should be back in this week though. I will still psot every once in a while, jsut when you are about to forget me.

Well, some of the biggest news I guess would be the anouncement of 1/18 BBR diecast models. There first 1/18 Ferrari will be the Enzo. Also, Exoto has a new line coming out sometime in the future. It's the Gran Turismo line.

Here's what they have listed:

2003 Aston Martin Vanquish
2003 Ferrari Enzo
1960 Ferrari 250 GT SWB Berlinetta
1964 Ferrari 275 GTB
1966 Ferrari 275 GTB/4
1987 Ferrari F40
1997 Ferrari F50

Hi Joe. Good to see you back (even if it may be for a brief stay). I miss seeing that banner of yours. Best of luck in the last stretch of the schoolyear and likewise in finding a full-time job. I hope it'll support your diecast habits. :giggle

:cheers :cheers
