Could any one tell me how many mclaren f1's there are availible in diecast 1/18. In UT ONLY - motorsport ? :danbanna :danbanna

Hi Guys!.. Just moved AlI G's thread here, relating to how many Mac's there are made by UT, to see if we cant help her out to answer this question. I do hope someone has a good knowledge of UT Mac's! :cheers

I for one don't own a single Mclaren yet.. sorry ALI! ..

I count eighteen:

There should be four Gulf Long Tails, #39, #40, and #41, plus there was an "error" version of the #39 which had the name plate on the roof scoop upside down (I have since acquired one, and that is why the picture only shows the bottom of three).

Then there are four other Long Tails, the ECI #40, and Loctite #41, and two Fina's, #8 and #9.

There are ten Short Tails in total. Three 1995 versions, #51-Harrods, #59-Ueno Clinic, and #24 Gulf, and the same three in 1996 body work. And then four more Short Tails in 1996 body work, Gulf #33 and #34, and #30 Art Soorts and #53 Franck Mueller Watches.

Did I get them all?

Here's a link to TMD96's collection of F1 GTRs and F1 roadcars.

On top of the ones that ibj40 listed, there are also three BMW dealer exclusives that were released: #38, #39 and presentation car. The first two were referred to as Team Bigazzi cars. They're incredibly expensive when you can even find them.

I've taken the liberty to "show off" TMD96's fine pictures here:

Hi, Thanks for all the pictures. The collection looks great. I have listed below the ones I have got until I get round to taking pictures.

I count 19 in my coolection... so I have one Harrods missing.

Orange Crush Short tail (Single and Twin plane)

If anyone has got a twin plane Harrods, please let me know as I have both Orange Single and Twin plane cars for trade. One for one.

So that's 27, including series 1/2 variations.

Actually, i think it's 28, as the Papaya Orange LM has an original issue with 2 further variations.

ibj40 - You're even more hardcore than I am. I once had two versions of the '95 racers and the LM but sold all the updates and kept just the original versions. You even got the #39 Gulf with the up-side-down decals. :nicejob
