Apollo. Venom looks too much like a super-sooped up Elise
The Apollo is wicked and wild!
Well it is a sooped up elise
I just cannot imagine the thrust on that thing, meanwhile the grip and downforce on the Gumpert must make for quite a thrill at the track. I am really glad these two were done by Autoart. Good to have models of supercars that are not Lambos or Porsche. Not sure anybody else would tackle these in diecast.

Didn't realize venom was that big. Thought it was just a lotus Elise body.
The on ly ELise componets are the windshield, doors and some of the front end. Everything from the drivers seat back is totally new. Everyone blows out of proportion how much it is a Lotus! It is Pretty clever for sure, and looks much more imposing than any Lotus.

I have the blue Apollo too and it's definitely one of my favorite models.

I've always loved the 1:1. I get why people would find it ugly, but especially when it was first designed - 2004ish - it was totally unique and if anything, a car way ahead of its time. It's worth mentioning that all of these modern supercars (P1, 918, etc) that are basically all aerodynamics are only doing that 10 years after the Apollo.

I literally just spent an hour trying to choose between these 2 models on eBay - the Apollo in that gorgeous blue and the Venom in grey.

Ended up ordering the Venom as in the Uk these are generally £200 now - but may just see if I can squeeze the Apollo onto the credit card!

IMO the Venom flows much better than the Apollo's design. And From what I've seen the engine bay is nice on the Venom too.
That being said, Hennessey (and I won't start an argument) is a sh*t company managed by a sh*t owner.

Just caught this...and despite loving the Lotus inspired Venom, it's the fugly Apollo clinches it for me...
...Thanks for the great photo comparison 118!

Ended up picking up the Apollo in blue as well as the Venom and they arrived within a day of each other.

Both have their merits - I thought I would prefer the Venom but now I have them both in the metal, I would say the Apollo is the better model
