Some cars have features that really "define" it. The Viper is a car whose arch behind the front wheels and turn-up tail have always stood out in my mind as two such defining features. Last night, I was mucking around with my light and moving it around to see what lines of the car could be revealed. Since the light is quite directional and focussed, I could "steer" it towards parts of the car I want to. The shroud of the light also prevents light from "splashing out" to the background. Anyway, I thought the first shot was kind of neat.

Wow great pics of your Viper again Felix!

I agree that the arching and rounded forms of the Viper are a sign of huge power.
You showed that very well in the first pic! :tongue :nicejob
Thanks E60 ///M5 about the 1st photo.

Somehow, I don't really don't like my second photo since it looks a bit bright. I haven't fully developed my skill for taking photos of white cars against black backgrounds. There's lots for this camera-toting grasshopper to learn! :giggle :giggle

Thanks for your compliments Souky, Gian and Kurt. Here are a couple more rear shots but not as good as the first one I think.

I thought the first shot was just so great!

As for the second, I think it came out pretty good also, if the brightness is to much, it may be as simple as running it through PhotoShop? Although I understand the desire to do it with the camera alone!

I've changed up my 2nd photo. The photo I originally had as my 2nd photo wasn't lit up well enough so the side ended up too bright when the front end was lit up just enough. I wasn't able to fix that up decently enough on Photoshop. Thanks for your honest feedback! That's always appreciated. :cheers

I finally had some time to do one of the things I really love to do, photographing my diecasts. I've generally had troubles with white cars so I thought I'd give this one another try. This set turned out pretty decent so here they are. It's a shame Autoart had not turned out more Viper GTS-Rs than the 14. There were some other ones that raced from 1997 to 2002 that looked really sharp that are found in 1:43 (made by Minichamps and iXO) that I'd love to have in 1:18!!
