Great models and great photos! :coolpics
:cheers all, yes true aussie fire power :happy

Group B: these have long sold out, ebay is your best bet, but hard to find & the price can be high.

:cheers
G'day Mike, great photos!

I think personally, the dark background are the better shots.
But the white background is also ace!

Hi Mike,

:coolpics I particulary like the two showing the reflections.

I actually met the guy who owns the real Walkinshaw that Biante did the model on. Met at QUIT Motorplex at a corporate function, i was a guest of his company. Great guy. I haven't got this model myself but he offerd to sign it for me if i ever did.

The car originally came from Melbourne and he flew over from Perth to have a looksee and bought it.

They are still great cars in my book!!

:cheers

Thanks Anders & Timbo, I also agree the dark seems nice, but the 1st white really shows off the true Sliver of the car on the samn token.

Timbo, thanks for the Story behind the 1:1, hope you decide to get one as the detail is amazing.

:cheers
These are getting increasingly hard to get, made in two batches of 6000. 12000 in all. First 6000 have a fully enclosed styrofoam box, last 6000 have a window box. The first 6000 seem to go for a bit more. Current prices on ebay seem to range from 150 AUD to 190 AUD. Great model, but hard to find.

I bought mine a few years ago, cost me 144AUD. Its one of the first 6000
Mine is in an enclosed box as well, its like a koysho box dont you think?

:cheers

Is that who made the model for Biante? I always thought it was an Autoart model.

Both good anyways...perhaps they both made 'em. 1st batch one company, 2nd batch 'tother..... :blahblah

Mike, I am trying to stick to racing cars in 1:18 these days but am sorely tempted!! :happy

All the best,

Timbo.

Yeah the :tempted part is a killer, I tryed to stick to road cars, but that didn't last long. Tho being a Peter Brock fan didn't help at all :giggle

OT: Timbo if you still need some photos resized feel free to ask anytime, would gladly resize your photo's of your awesome collection.

:cheers
Please stop posting such great looking Aussie cars, its breaking my heart.
