Weathering old cars

I would like to weather a few Bburago old cars that I have as I find them too plastic looking in there factory new state.(Jag SS100,MB SSKL,Bugatti 59 etc..)I would especially like to see pictures of wear patterns and road dirt and water splash effects. Does anyone know of any sites or books offering insights to these techniques.I am quite familiar with acrylic paint and pastels, it is more the realistic look that I am after.Thanks.Cheers! :cheers John.

There is no way I can come within a mile of your quality diorama work :danbanna ,

Thanks Ken for the info. As far as my diorama work is concerned it really isnt as difficult as it looks.Study other peoples work and be creative.Do your own thing and above all have fun.Cheers!John. :cheers
