Hi all, as the original thread has some glitches we've decided to start a new one, all 2020 adds onwards will go here.

Thanks.

Love the green! What's the quality like on Highway 61 models? I haven't seen one in person yet.
Thanks for the info! It's good to know to carefully inspect them before buying.

The old ones that had the Ertl branding on the box, most were fantastic and loaded full of features and details,
It seems like the spirit of Ertl continues! I'll have to keep my eye out for those.
My first CMC acquired today!
Totally confirms his roumor!
Congrats on the acquisition! Looks spectacular. I've been eyeballing similar streamliners, but I don't think I'm ready to take the plunge yet. And as @vulpex hinted at its hard to go back once you've bought one of the best.

Nevertheless I couldn't pass up on this Autoart Lamborghini Countach:
I realized I don't have a nice Countach in my collection. How is the AA one since I see it's still available from retailers for a reasonable price?
I can't imagine the work that was spent from someome to achieve such detail.
The detailing is incredibly impressive! Great buy!

I got myself an impulse buy that doesn't fit any category.
It'll go well with a Pullman and there's your theme! 😄

These arrived unexpectedly at the same time:

The colour scheme was difficult to find as it was quite popular for the limited run (versus Silver which is still available and has been for some time now) and by the time I was ready to pull the trigger the different retailers I followed sold out of it. Glad I was able to snag it finally!

The picture was quick and does not do the diecast justice. Exceptionally well done and includes hood pins (one of which I couldn't get back on before the shot). The hood pins did leave me feeling like a dunce when I couldn't figure out why the hood wouldn't open (I didn't realize they were functional!). :cautious:

Received my first resin and I am very pleased with it. I haven't compared it directly to any diecast yet, but other than weight, I can't tell the difference. I wasn't looking to add this to my collection, but I stumbled upon it and the price and shipping were quite persuasive:

In keeping with the race car theme I just received this GMP Lola T-70 Spyder after winning it in an ebay auction for a good price. It's only the second race car in my collection and while I likely will not be adding many more, I do have a place for Donohue race cars:

I have a GMP Sunoco Lola T70 which is different in detail.
I didn't know there was more than one Donohue option released.
Does it say on the box which race this version is from?
Ninjaed by @Jersey_Devil who has more precise details! 😄

This is the Nassau winner:

Arrggghh!
That's also different to my version.
How many options did GMP turn out?
Mine has the race number 6.
That Donohue raced? If so, there are 4 that I found:

1. T-70 MK II Spyder #16
2. T-70 MK III Spyder #6
3. T-70 Mk III Spyder #7
4. T-70 MK 3B Coupe #6

If you include other drivers the sky is the limit....
@Marios

Wow another great addition! I'm assuming made by Kyosho branded as BBR? I took a look online and there's some intricate detailing done on the engine. Can't wait to see your photos of it.

I wasn't sure myself, hence the ask. I checked again and model car wholesale states distributed by Kyosho. Since Kyosho is a manufacturer and not a distributor of anyone else's products, from what I can tell, I thought the translation might be off and it implied a made by. But that's just me guessing.
I am collecting all cars from the 2021 season and preferably for each driver their best result of the season.
I'm not into F1 at all, but that would be quite impressive to have and display! Good luck and if you do acquire them the pictures of them would be great and a lot of fun composing different shots based on actual races!
