Bought a few models today and considering a couple more. So far it's been

Aventador SV to be used with the Hobby Design Liberty Walk it I won last week

Hot Wheels Elite 458 Speciale to be used with the Legende Miniatures Liberty Walk 458 Spyder kit I have on the way.

I originally bought a Maisto 458 Speciale for this but realized this will work a lot better. I'll do something else with that Maisto


And last (so far today) I got this gorgeous Viper Green 991.2 GT3. This will get lowered on some new wheels

Like I figured, I picked up something else today. This was a big personal grab for me. I've wanted one for a while and they're getting harder to come by. Said I wasn't gonna spend more than $200 for it and scored it for just that

Oh man, this was something special. Mine sadly developed paint issues on the plastic bumpers.

Wow, those are so hard to find these days. Even harder to find one without defects. A very interesting b piece of 1:18 model collection history.

New arrival today, I got this GT Spirit / Kyosho Lamborghini Countach LP 5000 QV for only 95 euro off ebay as a replacement for the paint stripper destroyed Countach body which was the JDM custom Countach project. BUT, this looks really nice and not sure I want to chop it up. Time will tell.

Yeah, yeah, yeah, I know I said I was cutting back, but I'm a sucker for a Stratos and for a Safari spec rally car and I like my tarmac spec Sun Star Stratos (for the price), so I couldn't resist at the price CK had them for...

That Kyosho version of the 2002 turbo looks better on the outside than the AUTOart, more impressive front and rear 'rubber' window surrounds.
Those on the AUTOart look very thick, and unrealistic.

Rob, i agree with you on the Jesko, altough the one i received had one of the wing supports broken off so i had to send it back and now i am waiting for a replacement.

Civic is the Autoart version, finally available after a long wait in North America. The NSX is a random local purchase from Brian, I figure why not. The Hawkeye is a long time grail, although I would have preferred the S204 (not at the ebay prices). And the Kyosho Skyline I have some tasty plans for!

This came in today and I'm happy enough with how it will display. The additional plastic pieces did have some slight color variation compared to the diecast but nothing that would force me to repaint. I'm going to put some new wheels on it once my order from Uli comes in (I know, blasphemous)
