DHL came late. I didn't know they work past 8pm. Paid twice what I feel like it's worth, but I thought a vintage Rolls would look cool in my collection.

Started the year off well. Bought 4 models in January

This is a fully opening diecast not the regular sealed version they have out.

One more in my quest for nice budget models...the detailed engine bay goes well with the only cockpit opening Solido 956 that I have alongside it
Needs a tiny bit of cleaning but kind of worries about damaging these decals. If anyone has this particular UH model I'd appreciate thoughts on that

I literally JUST posted on a racing site I belong to on Facebook about how much I love this Shell/Dunlop livery and the fact that Porsche fielded a team of three 962s with that same color scheme at Le Mans in 1988.One more in my quest for nice budget models...the detailed engine bay goes well with the only cockpit opening Solido 956 that I have alongside it

Yes, I've always got quite a few items up for sale and i'm also working on a website to list more. I want to get to a point where I've got about 50 high-quality models I really love rather than 100s or 1000s collecting dust.
We won about 35 pieces at auction recently, mostly Exotos. We were able to get these at really good prices (by today's standards). Much as I love them, if we can achieve a decent profit on them, i'll use it to fund purchases that will become the core element of my collection. If not, its fine because i'm happy to keep them and give to my son as he gets a little older. I am aware this probably goes against the grain of how most people collect!
Why do I post them on here? Because they are beautiful, and whether I keep them long term or not, it's great to share the pictures. I've unboxed about half so far.
BTW we are going to list a blue GT40 for auction with no reserve, if this or anything else is interesting to anyone, please feel free to send me a private message.

Given that you won them at auction for a low price it does seem a bit off to almost immediately sell them on though - you've deprived other collectors that genuinely wanted the models of a great deal, for nothing more than your own personal gain. Imagine how much you might have appreciated getting just one of the models you genuinely love for a great price; that's what you've taken away from someone else.

Yep, I can absolutely see that point of view.
But the auction was a public auction, I found out about it through Google. We didn't bid high or force anyone out of the bidding. We won less than 5% of the lots. The other 95% also went for really great prices. I guess anyone that genuinely wanted this type of model could have done the same 'research'. EBay is not the only place to buy used models.
I'll probably try and sell about half of what we won, but as I wrote above I'm not in a hurry. If they make good prices, then i'll use the cash to buy others, if not i'll keep them.

You are free to make money from buying and selling models, and it's great to see what you've been buying, but I suppose I always thought of this thread as additions to a personal collection rather than bulk purchases to sell on (I am also a bit envious of your amazing Exotos as I haven't bought a car this year due to lack of money. and I couldn't really buy very many last year - maybe five).
