Oh, goodness, that looks just like a section in my basement! And the reason I have five new steel shelving sets (they hold about 90 models per unit) to assemble and fill so I can easily access the models (especially if I want to sell any of them.)

Did anyone here win the £84 Mazda 787B on ebay tonight? I was in a meeting and couldn't bid!
No way one went for that little! Crying I never bid :(

Congrats on the adds, Rob. I couldn't think of a better present than that engine!

Rob, that engine is stunning! What a great add!
I am tempted but even my wallet winces at the price of that one!

Tell me about it! The reminder went off on my phone but as I had work colleagues either side of me it would have been hard to pull that one off as "Oh, it's just the wife!"

Is it a genuine green/orange race or the all black racing game version?
The Le Mans winner is 100 times more desirable/valuable in my opinion.

Yep, full on boxed Le Mans Winner, first release I guess too! Just need to glue the mirrors back on.
I would have set up a snipe if I even had a hint it would end so low!

Nowhere was the scale mentioned - that's why it went for a good price! A lot of people, myself included, search '1:18' so this would not have come up.
Would have loved to have bought this at this price.
My best Ebay bargain so far was an unboxed Exoto Renault RE20 for £10 last year.

Yesterday I probably should've bought the Press Sample CMC Ferrari 312P on Ebay for £200. I suppose that sort of deal won't come along again for a while. It had a few pieces loose which needed re-attaching, but nothing major. Just a poly trays and plain outer card box style of packaging. Anyone on here snap it up? I submitted a bid of £180 but was declined. Just felt I couldn't go higher than that (trying to save up for a deposit on a house, and scrummy 1:18 car purchses aren't going to help, especially if my Wife were to find out).

Yes Jersey Devil, £10! It was part of a job lot of 15 F1 cars. I'm amazed I was the only bidder as they were correctly advertised. It did have a couple of faults which I've fixed, and no box. It's a funny thing getting a good deal on Ebay - you want to shout about it, but at the same time you know that others will feel jealous and annoyed that they missed out, so I tend not to blurt it out.

My advice to everyone is, if you see it, have the money for it and like it, buy it! You will only be upset if you don't! Worst case, you can always sell it. If you are worried about over paying, look up what sold examples sell for on eBay etc.

I regretted not buying the OttO Mobile Renault 8 Gordini Group F rally car, which was released in May 2016. Prices crept up (going for double what it cost on release) but after years of searching I scored one last year for not much more than they did cost.
