I've longed for this car for quite a while now. Every time I saw it on eBay, there'd be a bidding frenzy for it. I got a little lucky and found one locally. I'm still figuring out the best technique for photographing it since there's a lot of white in it (& I pretty much stink at shooting cars with white).

They car is much heavier than any of my other 1:18. I almost wonder if it's got lead weights in it like the new AUTOart Impul Calsonic Skyline GTR. :confused

Anyway, this car raced in 2001. it was co-driven by Dirk Muller/Fredrik Ekblom.

(check out the hoodpins!)

Thanks for the kind words guys. :cheers I bought the very last one of these in the BMW dealership. They don't even have a stock code for that model in their database. It's been out of production for a while so I guess it's a rare car nowadays.

That is one gorgeous model, I've been after this one for so long and still don't have it. Like you said Felix, the eBay frenzy on these models is nuts. Great pics. :nicejob :cheers

Thanks AM. :cheers It truly was one of those moments where I had to decide very quickly to purchase it or not. Given there was only the display model left in the dealership's stock, there really wasn't a choice for me. I just had to buy it! :giggle

It's truly an amazing model. Granted, it's not in the same league as an Exoto but neither is its price. :giggle I'm sorry to hear you had been looking for it for that long. :crying I didn't realize this car has been that difficult to track down. I'm starting to think I got really lucky. :confused

great car and shots SM. I tried taking shots of mine the other nite and they sure didn't come out like that. :confused
Thanks for the compliment Mike! :cheers Once you get the hang of your new digicam, you will be able to take terrific pictures. It's just a matter of time and quite a bit of dogged persitence.
