More plates... I usually have a few models on my desk, might as well print some plates while they're there. First step is finding a 1:1 in the exact same spec. I found that the old British plates look better on matte sticker paper.

There used to be a 1/18th scale opening version, but I couldn't find one anywhere.

Subtle changes so far.

These come out of the box from ACME with black wheels and a black front spoiler.

Next step is to remove the Boss 302 hockey stick side stripe.

As hard as it may seem, I have never used non-acetone nail polish remover before on a model.

Unfortunately the guy who “restored” it created a fictitious livery for it.

My decal artist has done a good job getting close. I need to have the stripe removed so that we can get a better look at it.

I think I can see the remnants of an IMSA decal on the drivers door.

It was originally a Bud Moore build from a body-in-white chassis supplied by Ford.

The other two were the school bus yellow Trans Am cars, this was the spare (and the actual story is widely (and wildly) debated by the Boss 302 community).

In the livery in the pictures it raced IMSA GTO in 1975.
