For those of you who are looking for a pissing contest to see if you can spend the most and this will be of special interest to you Bugatti collectors. Right now on eBay someone is selling a production version of the red/black Veyron under the listing '1/18 MR Collection Bugatti Veyron Red/Black'. It comes mounted on a carbon fibre plaque with a plexiglass cover for the low price of $750US or $797CDN and only $30CDN shipping to Canada. (You might want to get them to lie on the customs form) Go for it! Then let us know if you get as much satifaction paying through the nose as you did when you bought your first Veyron for $80US or $160US for you late blumers! Whew! Unbelievable.

PS: I just clicked on the "Watch This Item" just to see if anyone really buys this 'bargain'.

Hey CJ- How about detailing that list with 'why each was priced so high? Would be interesting to see that.

I haven't delved into the super-rare or top end brands of diecast...the most i've personally spent is probably $130 for a yellow type-R impreza by autoart, and that's followed by $90 for an autoart GT3 RS

An update on the $750 Veyron I was watching on eBay. This is an MR model which I assume might be Master Replicators and only 1 of three made and displayed at some prominent auto shows like Pebble Beach. Someone from Brazil
actually bought it today. Damn! I was just thinking about going for it today....not!

hello all,

speaking of high prices, here in mexico we get mostly muscle cars from ertl authentics goes normaly fro us 120, highway 61 for us 130, autoart all kind from 120 to 160 us, kyosho up to 180 - those are regular prices in shops and on the internet...very few european models though...unfortunatly

most expensive die cast since now is a ford mustang mach 1, autoart, red for 160 us... :zoom
